"Excellent room, delicious food, delightful setting"
Long weekend to get on with some writing in peace and quiet - and visit a friend's 50th party. Stayed in a charming, airy, wood-beamed room with a lovely view of the village green that was well-kitted out for a 'modern' stay.
It was all great though the biggest - and most pleasant - surprise was the quality of the food. It really was good. Sean Alone Stayed: Jul '16
"What we hoped for"
Overnight stay so only had limited time but found the Falcon to be great. Had thought about using a Premier Inn (or similar) but am so glad I found this as it has character and charm along with the quality room and food. The fridge with complimentary stuff was a bonus. Similar with the surrounding facilities as the village is lovely as well. Glyn

"A relaxing stay at the Falcon"
We had a very relaxing stay for one week in May. We came to visite London but didn't want to stay in the city centre and where looking for a quite place which it really was.
Very friendly owners and staff, cosy rooms and good food. We felt very comfortable. The old house has a lot of character. Karin ,Mature Couple Stayed: May '16

“A wonderful slice of heaven!!!”
Stayed on 22nd August. Amazing inn, beautiful beamed room, ensuite, power shower and so quiet you can hear a pin drop. After one night we felt we had been away for a week. The staff were all fantastic and friendly. Menu was varied and the food was delicious, the new chef certainly knows his stuff. The only probelm we could find was having to come home!! Will be returning once a month every month hopefully !!!
Room Tip
“We asked for a room in the eaves with the beams, absolutely gorgeous and with the window above the bed we could lay and watch the stars.”
"Quiet bolt hole from London"
We stayed for a quiet weekend away not too far from London where we could to out for walks. The room was lovely with a very comfy bed and a fabulous shower. Staff were warm and friendly.
"Lovely village and perfect location for the golf course"
A 2 night stay to watch the Ladies' Masters golf. The location was perfect for the golf course. The room was very comfortable and although English breakfast was not included, there was fresh fruit, cereals and fresh milk in the room in a fridge. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed due to a fault but there are excellent eateries within 100 yards(2 pubs and an Italian).
"Above and beyond"
I arrived at 1am in the morning after a 3 hour flight delay - the landlord stayed up waiting for me and couldn't do enough to make me welcome even at that time! So friendly. Great to have a fridge and breakfast option in the room - with fresh milk!
"Convenient and comfortable"
Just stayed for the night for a function that was in the area. The member of staff who saw me to the room was great and arranged for us to come back much later when the function was over. The room was great and the shower small but great water pressure! The 10am checkout time seems really early on a sunday morning especially after a late night. Lovely walks in the area though. Pretty village. Shower. Flexibility for late-night functions. Close to station.
"Charming Old World Stay"
We needed to be in London for an event at Wembley, but having visited London in the past, we wanted to try something outside of the "loop" and the Falcon Inn fit that bill perfectly. Staying in an over 500-year old inn! Certainly minor and totally known, the village of Denham is moderately convenient (about a 10 minute walk) to the rail and this was really a minor issue on our departure with our luggage. Would recommend to a friend.
"The stay in this cosy pub/hotel was a very
pleasant alternative for one of the big hotels."
it is informal, a nice pub, has nice very clean rooms and all facilities that one needs for a simple stay overnight.
"Lovely village with an impressive inn with a gorgeous room!"
We visited Denham Village to experience the surroundings as we adore places of old and we were very pleased with the Falcon Inn. The room booked was just as we had hoped - a lovely mixture of old and new with a comfortable bed and lovely wooden beams. We would be keen to return another time! We enjoyed the location very much - it is rather a little slice of old beauty surrounded by a lot of modernity. If one didn't know where the village was,
it would be easy to miss!
"Excellent pub hotel"
Very well received, great room, perfect location.
"A fantastic nights sleep in a great room, with a lovely bed and quality bed linen. Excellent."
