. Tranquil. Friendly staff. Great food. Clean room. All good really!

stayed Alone July 17 5*

Young couple (late 20s) stayed overnight in early June.
Stayed in the room at the very top of the pub so had the beautiful rafters and beams under the eaves
Thought the cost of a cooked breakfast was pricey for the size of meal. It really wasn't worth what they charged & not good value considering the room cost
Would recommend to a friend.

Check-in was easy and quick. Our room was at the top, up lovely twisty, narrow stairs; we loved it. Room had old beams exposed and beautiful window view over the village green and houses. Very comfortable bed.
Staff were friendly and helpful/ Several ales on hand-pump ( well kept) and other draft taps including a cider.
Food menu was excellent and a good wine choice too. The Falcon salad and the dessert we tried were amazing and the cappuccino were nicely made.
Village quiet and beautiful.
Everything, as above. Bathroom - lovely heated towel rail & nice shower with the wash basin and toilet. In-room breakfast facilities - fresh milk & juice in the fridge plus cereal and tea/coffee. All was lovely Would recommend to a friend.

Stayed 3 nights in the centre of pretty Denham village to visit old haunts including the church where we got married 50 years ago.
The Falcon looks directly onto the village green, surrounded by old quaint cottages. The room, at the top, was pleasant and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful.

"My favourite best kept secret"
I regularly stay at The Falcon and absolutely love it. Why stay in a chain when you can stay here? Beautiful.
A bit of a shame no food on a Sunday evening, but they were good to recommend other options.

I chose the Falcon Inn as I had arranged a business trip a few miles away and also managed to meet up with an old school friend at the same time. The lady who greeted me and showed me to my room on my arrival was very friendly and extremely helpful.
The room I was allocated was beautiful and the little touches of the items in the fridge, the bathroom products and the DVDs was a very pleasant surprise.
The only downside was the cooked breakfast, I wouldn't say I didn't like it I just felt for the money it wasn't that good and appealing.
Would recommend to a friend. Victoria Stayed: Jan '17 4 *
"Wonderful historic pub in a beautiful location"
As we were visiting relatives in Denham we decided to go to a show in London too. I had visited the Falcon once before many years ago and was impressed with its location, so I wanted to revisit and show my partner just how beautiful the village was.
Loved everything about our stay. The owners were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was nice and it was situated in a beautiful and historic place.
If I had one observation, but not a criticism, our room was up a narrow and winding set of stairs so it might be difficult for people with reduced mobility. However, this is part of its charm.
Would recommend to a friend.

We were visiting a relative in Denham so your location was perfect. No pressure to get up for breakfast, nice to have it in room at small table. Lunch and dinner available downstairs and small pub garden.
We loved the atmosphere of the spacious beamed room with its double aspect windows looking on to the green. Well equipped bathroom. Nice to have fruit and cereals, tea, coffee & biscs available. Elizabeth Mature Couple Stayed: Aug '16

"Excellent room, delicious food, delightful setting"
Long weekend to get on with some writing in peace and quiet - and visit a friend's 50th party. Stayed in a charming, airy, wood-beamed room with a lovely view of the village green that was well-kitted out for a 'modern' stay.
It was all great though the biggest - and most pleasant - surprise was the quality of the food. It really was good. Sean Alone Stayed: Jul '16

"What we hoped for"
Overnight stay so only had limited time but found the Falcon to be great. Had thought about using a Premier Inn (or similar) but am so glad I found this as it has character and charm along with the quality room and food. The fridge with complimentary stuff was a bonus. Similar with the surrounding facilities as the village is lovely as well. Glyn

It was one of the highlights of our stay" "We really enjoyed our stay at this accomodation.
We stayed one night on route to visit family. It was a lovely quaint part of the village, easily accessible and we went for a local walk.
We liked the quaint Pub, everything was comfortable, the place was clean and tidy, access to walks and driving access was excellent.
It was hard getting our bags up the stairs

"Friendly, welcoming and a little bit quirky - much nicer than anonymous hotel"
Staying for a couple of nights on business. Usual places were all full. Found the Falcon via Google and thought it was worth a go. Very good value for the area with spacious, clean room and en suite shower. Denham is a very picture postcard village. Ate dinner one night, which was tasty. Breakfast arrangements a little strange: cereal provided in bedroom, with milk in fridge. Cooked breakfast available downstairs (book the night before), which I didn't have. Would definitely stay again.
Friendly staff. Clean room.

"A relaxing stay at the Falcon"
We had a very relaxing stay for one week in May. We came to visite London but didn't want to stay in the city centre and where looking for a quite place which it really was.
Very friendly owners and staff, cosy rooms and good food. We felt very comfortable. The old house has a lot of character. Karin ,Mature Couple Stayed: May '16

"I felt like I was at home, did not want to leave."
My daughter and I really enjoyed our 5 day stay. The twin room was excellent and we enjoyed the evenings sitting in the pub and planning our next day adventures. The location of the Falcon Inn in Denham is perfect to work out of to see London and the surrounding area very easy to get to the major highways. The train station is just a short walk away to get you into London. The village the Falcon Inn resides in is a step back in time, well worth the stay!
The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The regular patrons to the pub created a very warm atmosphere and were very helpful with helping us plan our daily sightseeing.

"Excellent B&B - Would recommend to anyone, family, couples or business."
2 nights stay as business bought me to the area. Was very happy with the service, room and excellent food.
Was in a great location, beautiful village, although did not get to see all of it. The staff were warm and welcoming and the pub, B & B it's self was excellent.

“A wonderful slice of heaven!!!”

Stayed on 22nd August. Amazing inn, beautiful beamed room, ensuite, power shower and so quiet you can hear a pin drop. After one night we felt we had been away for a week. The staff were all fantastic and friendly. Menu was varied and the food was delicious, the new chef certainly knows his stuff. The only probelm we could find was having to come home!! Will be returning once a month every month hopefully !!!

Room Tip

“We asked for a room in the eaves with the beams, absolutely gorgeous and with the window above the bed we could lay and watch the stars.”

"Quiet bolt hole from London"

We stayed for a quiet weekend away not too far from London where we could to out for walks. The room was lovely with a very comfy bed and a fabulous shower. Staff were warm and friendly.

"Lovely village and perfect location for the golf course"

A 2 night stay to watch the Ladies' Masters golf. The location was perfect for the golf course. The room was very comfortable and although English breakfast was not included, there was fresh fruit, cereals and fresh milk in the room in a fridge. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed due to a fault but there are excellent eateries within 100 yards(2 pubs and an Italian).

"Above and beyond"

I arrived at 1am in the morning after a 3 hour flight delay - the landlord stayed up waiting for me and couldn't do enough to make me welcome even at that time! So friendly. Great to have a fridge and breakfast option in the room - with fresh milk!

"Convenient and comfortable"

Just stayed for the night for a function that was in the area. The member of staff who saw me to the room was great and arranged for us to come back much later when the function was over. The room was great and the shower small but great water pressure! The 10am checkout time seems really early on a sunday morning especially after a late night. Lovely walks in the area though. Pretty village. Shower. Flexibility for late-night functions. Close to station.

"Charming Old World Stay"

We needed to be in London for an event at Wembley, but having visited London in the past, we wanted to try something outside of the "loop" and the Falcon Inn fit that bill perfectly. Staying in an over 500-year old inn! Certainly minor and totally known, the village of Denham is moderately convenient (about a 10 minute walk) to the rail and this was really a minor issue on our departure with our luggage. Would recommend to a friend.

James, Mature Couple

"The stay in this cosy pub/hotel was a very
pleasant alternative for one of the big hotels."

it is informal, a nice pub, has nice very clean rooms and all facilities that one needs for a simple stay overnight.

Berend, Alone

"Lovely village with an impressive inn with a gorgeous room!"

We visited Denham Village to experience the surroundings as we adore places of old and we were very pleased with the Falcon Inn. The room booked was just as we had hoped - a lovely mixture of old and new with a comfortable bed and lovely wooden beams. We would be keen to return another time! We enjoyed the location very much - it is rather a little slice of old beauty surrounded by a lot of modernity. If one didn't know where the village was,
it would be easy to miss!
